KOMATSUYA SHOKUDO

Komatsuya Shokudo(Restaurant), located in Hokkaido, is a Japanese home-style cooking specialty restaurant with over a century of history. Since the early 1900s during the Taisho era, Komatsuya has been beloved by local residents across multiple generations for its dishes centered around ramen, rice balls, sushi, and more. In the 2010s, the third-generation owner, Mr. Komatsuya, had to close the business due to old age. Today, his granddaughter, Ms. Sudo, has taken over the recipes and operations of the restaurant and is expanding the brand internationally to countries such as South Korea, China, and Thailand.
